One room, one chair, one artist. The room is set before the client arrives and the tools are laid out in the order they are used, so the appointment starts at the chair rather than at a desk.

Your first visit

Nothing is tattooed until you approve the drawn shape.

The appointment runs in the same order every time. The waiver, the service agreement and the marketing agreement are signed at check in, before the consultation starts, so consent is settled first and the rest of the appointment is spent on your face. The consultation is not a separate visit and not a phone call: it happens at the chair, in front of a mirror, with the pigment still sealed. The price and the date were settled before you arrived.

1. 01 You check in and sign three documents: the waiver, the service agreement, and the marketing agreement, which is the permission to photograph the work and publish it. Nothing is drawn and no numbing cream goes on until all three are signed.
2. 02 The before photograph is taken. It is taken before the numbing cream and before anything is drawn on your face, so what it records is your own brow, unmarked.
3. 03 The consultation happens at the chair. You choose from about four brow styles, and the one you choose is set against your own features rather than against a chart.
4. 04 Your shape is drawn on with a pencil, over your existing brow. Start, arch and tail are measured, and the angle and the placement are adjusted to the face they are drawn on.
5. 05 The drawing is handed to you in a mirror. If it is not right it is wiped off and drawn again, and that repeats until you agree it is right.
6. 06 You can still walk out here. If the shape is not one you want, the appointment ends and you leave with your own face, unchanged. Nothing is tattooed. The deposit is not returned.
7. 07 Numbing cream goes on the area and stays on for 10 to 15 minutes.
8. 08 The work itself takes one hour to one and a half hours, depending on the style and on how much detail you have asked for.
9. 09 The mirror comes out again at the end, so the finished shape is confirmed with you before you leave the chair.
10. 10 The balance is paid on site, immediately after the work is finished. The aftercare is explained in the room and sent to you afterwards as a PDF.

After the chair

The first 48 hours, then three months, then two to three years.

For the first 48 hours there is no sauna and no high intensity exercise, and a protective cream is used across the area through that window, because the needle has opened the skin.

The colour looks strongest at first and then settles, and the true colour arrives at about week six.

The touch up is at three months, and its cost is confirmed at consultation. After the touch up the work wears two to three years. The colour can fade toward the end of that and can be refreshed, and the shape does not change. Changing a shape is not a touch up: it means removing the existing pigment first, which the studio does with laser removal, discussed at consultation.

Before you come

Appointment only. Please book at least 3 days in advance. A deposit confirms the appointment and counts toward the balance. Cancelling within 24 hours, or arriving 20 minutes late, releases the appointment and the deposit. The balance is paid on site, immediately after the work is finished, and the agreed price is the whole price for that appointment. The full policies print with the published prices.
