What the studio keeps, and why.

When you book

Online booking happens on Vagaro, where Laney PMU Studio's services are listed under D&L Beauty Salon, as Permanent Makeup. What you give there, and what Vagaro records, is held under Vagaro's own privacy policy, at vagaro.com/pro/privacy. The studio sees the booking there and keeps it as part of its client records.

Bookings made on this website before it moved to Vagaro are still part of the studio's client records, with what was kept with them: the photography agreement and how the client reached the site. They are stored by Autosterea, the company that runs those records, on servers in the United States, and emails about those appointments are sent through Twilio SendGrid. Neither may use your details for anything but running the studio's bookings.

The marketing agreement signed in the studio lets the studio photograph the work and publish those photographs. To have a photograph taken down, use the route under Your choices.

This website no longer takes bookings. It does not ask for your name, phone number or email address, and it no longer records how you reached it for a booking. Link details that an earlier version of this website kept in your browser are no longer read, and clearing this site's data removes them.

The studio does not sell your details and does not use them for advertising.

Anything you share about your health

This website asks nothing about your health. If you tell the studio about a condition or a medication, in writing or in person, it is used only to decide whether the work is safe for you. It is never used for analytics or advertising.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies in your browser and records the pages you view, roughly where you are (to the city), your device and browser, and how you found the site. When you press a Book button or open the booking form, which is Vagaro's, it also records that and the page it happened on, so the studio can see which pages, and which links to this site, such as the one on Instagram, lead people to book. What you type into the booking form goes to Vagaro, not to this website.

The studio never sends Google your name, phone number or email address. Google's advertising features are switched off for this site, and Google keeps this data for up to 14 months.

How Google uses this information is set out at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google's opt-out add-on switches Google Analytics off in your browser. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are not given analytics cookies. The site's fonts are also loaded from Google, which means Google sees your browser's address when a page loads.

Your choices

You can ask what the studio holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, unless a record has to be kept by law. Reply to any email from the studio, or write to Laney PMU Studio, 13433 NE 20th St, Suite I, Bellevue, WA 98005. What Vagaro holds is covered by the choices set out in Vagaro's own privacy policy.
